Two emblematic ESG rating results have just been announced: Veolia is included in CDP's A List and S&P Global's 2025 Sustainability Yearbook, with a Top 5% mention.
Veolia received a double Leadership level distinction from CDP, with an A score for CDP Climate change and A- for CDP Water security. These distinctions reflect the Group's transparency and performance in fighting climate change, adapting to its effects, and preserving water resources.
Veolia is also selected for S&P Global's 2025 Sustainability Yearbook, among the Top 5% of the world's largest companies recognized for their sustainability performance. Within its sector, Multi and Water Utilities, the Group ranked 2nd out of 74, with a CSA1 score of 79/1002. Based on this assessment, Veolia was also selected, for the 8th consecutive year, in the DJSI (Dow Jones Sustainability Indices) World and Europe indices, renamed Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices since February 10, 2025.
These recognitions of Veolia's leadership reinforce the Group's ongoing commitment to these ESG issues, which is part of its purpose and is reflected in the GreenUp strategic program through the Group's multifaceted performance objectives.

S&P Global evaluates companies from 62 industry sectors, with over 1000 indicators analyzed, and distinguishes the best performers in CSR. Only 10% of the 2,500 largest companies in the S&P Global Broad Market IndexSM are selected for the Dow Jones Best-in-class World index and 20% of the 600 largest European companies in the S&P Global Broad Market IndexSM for the Dow Jones Best-in-class Europe index. Only 4 Multi and Water Utilities companies are selected in the Dow Jones Best-in-class World index and only 2 in the Dow Jones Best-in-class Europe index.
CDP is an NGO that provides a platform for companies, cities, states, and regions to report their environmental data and actions. This data is then used by a wide range of stakeholders - in finance, procurement, investment, and policy, to turn transparency into action. In 2024, over 24,800 companies, representing two-thirds of global market capitalization, disclosed their environmental data through CDP.

Veolia Environnement is also part of the FTSE4Good and CAC 40 ESG indices. In October 2024, Veolia maintained its Prime distinction and ranked in the first decile of the Multi-Utilities sector in ISS-ESG's ESG assessment, with a B score3.
