Born in 1967 of Uruguayan nationality, Gustavo Migues graduated in Civil engineering from the University of the Republic of Uruguay.
He began his career in the Group in 1995 at Compagnie Générale des Eaux in France and then in Porto Rico. From 2002, for over a decade in China he successively held the posts of General Manager of Pudong Veolia Water Company, President of Shanghai Pudong Veolia Water Company, Director of Operations and Executive Director of Veolia Water Central China. In 2011, he became Country Director for South Korea.
In 2017, Gustavo Migues was appointed Director for the Latin America Zone and Spain and Portugal, as well as a member of the Executive Committee.
In February 2024, he became Senior Vice President Iberia & Latam in Veolia and a member of the Executive Committee.
