General Counsel of the Veolia Environnement group since 2009, Eric Haza was secretary of the board of directors before joining the group's executive committee.
He began his career at Simmons & Simmons in Paris and London, then at Clifford Chance in banking and finance. In 2000, he left the firm and joined the legal department of Rhodia, before joining Vivendi Environnement, now Veolia Environnement.He then became head of the legal department of Dalkia in 2008, a joint venture with EDF, before returning to Veolia Environnement.
He taught international contract law for several years at the University of Paris Dauphine and participates in the work of the Société de Législation Comparée. He is a member of the Cercle Montesquieu.
