Veolia in France and Ulule - a crowdfunding platform - are launching the #MakeItGreen call for projects. The aim is to select the 5 best entrepreneurial initiatives in favour of the environment, revolving around the circular economy, protecting biodiversity and fighting climate change. Any legal entities, associations and foundations, as well as individuals who may have a project devoted to the protection of the environment are eligible to participate in this operation.
Following a Veolia and Ulule selection process in 2020, the 5 successful projects will benefit from financial and operational support for their fundraising campaigns on the Internet.
The principle: for each euro paid by an Internet user, Veolia will contribute one euro up to a maximum of 2,000 euros per project. Entrepreneurs will also benefit from the expertise of Veolia and Ulule in terms of personalised support to optimise the environmental, societal and commercial impact of their initiative.
To take part: submit your project and see all the candidate projects on the dedicated themed channel: Make it green.
Héro, the ambassador for the operation
Chosen as an ambassador for #MakeItGreen, the start-up Héro specialises in the production of textiles made from 100% recycled materials. Its flagship product: a sweatshirt made entirely from recycled plastic bottles.
Veolia and Ulule act together for the planet
In the face of both environmental and climate challenges, Veolia has a strong conviction: by building bridges between young projects and major groups, together we will be able to improve our positive impact on the environment. By pooling all our expertise, this working community of different players makes it possible to co-construct innovative and effective solutions.
"This call for projects, which aims to encourage initiatives in favour of the environment, is fully in line with our Purpose: be useful and provide practical solutions to contribute to the ecological transformation of society”,
YANN MOREAU, DIRECTOR OF OPEN INNOVATION
