Medical Bins

We provide medical bins for collection and transport, which are generally removed from site by a Pantech truck.

What is a standard medical bin size?

A standard medical bin size is 50 litres.

Where do the medical bins go?

There are generally two standard options:

1. Thermally Controlled Destruction Facility

If the materials within cannot be reused, the stream is processed through an automatically controlled waste feed that ensures efficient combustion and complete destruction.  The waste is exposed to a chamber temperature of 1000 degrees Celsius, and the emissions are controlled to surpass European Standards, which exceed current Australian standards.

2. Autoclave

This applies only to equipment that can be sterilised for reuse such as medical supplies.
