Demolition & Installation Services

Veolia understands the critical path timeframes when performing refractory demolition or installation work and the impact this can have on the project outcome.

Our focus is on providing tailored processes and technological solutions that reduce operating costs, save time and improve refractory performance and reliability for our clients.

What falls under Veolia’s demolition and installation services?

We pride ourselves in being able to deliver timely and comprehensive services for builds, rebuilds, scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs and separate our offering into four different components:

Installation materials

Veolia has long standing relationships with local and global refractory material manufacturers, who produce a full range of bricks and monolithics, flow control products and foundry products to suit all kinds of refractory applications.

Through these relationships and through the volume of materials we purchase, Veolia can deliver value and cost advantages to our clients through synergies in the supply and install market.

Condition monitoring

We offer condition monitoring of installed refractories, including thorough maintenance programs and highly defined scopes for future shutdowns and turnarounds.

Our condition monitoring services include: inspections and assessments, infrared thermography, impact echo testing, virtual tours, and refractory and construction work surveying.

Specialised demolition systems

We have access to fully automated and manual demolition systems for all refractory applications including: jack hammering; Brokk (radio/remote-controlled demolition machines) machines; high-pressure hydro jetting technology; and core drilling demolition systems.

The cost of demolition and the safety of our workers are the chief factors when it comes to selecting the right equipment for each demolition.

Refractory and anchor analysis

We can conduct analysis on post mortem or in situ refractory samples to investigate the refractory condition and can conduct anchor analysis to identify anchor condition and failure modes.
