Working to tackle fuel poverty

People in many countries are facing a steady rise in their energy costs. For those living on low incomes, the risk of fuel poverty is very real.

WE PROVIDE ENERGY AT A STABLE COST

The residents of Varna, Bulgaria, have enjoyed stable energy prices over time. We were able to make that commitment thanks to the savings generated from optimizing our facilities. As a result, residents now have fewer payment problems: the percentage of unpaid bills has fallen by half.

RESIDENTS ARE IMPROVING THEIR HOMES

We help customers gain a better understanding of EU regulations, which has facilitated access to home improvement grants. In addition, our employees can provide advice on the type of renovation work to carry out: insulation, more even distribution of energy in residential complexes, etc.

Fuel poverty results from a combination of three factors:

  • low household income
  • poor thermal efficiency of housing
  • energy costs
